Carbon dioxide medical absorbent - SodaLime
Medical sodium lime SODA LIME (Carbon dioxide absorbent) is used to absorb carbon dioxide (CO2), including in closed or semi-closed respiratory systems, for example, in gas masks, diving gear, used in medicine for carbon dioxide absorption during artificial lung ventilation with semi-closed ventilation devices.
Natron lime composition: sodium hydroxide, calcium hydroxide, ethyl violet, water. It represents porous cylinders (granules): The diameter of the granules is 2.5 - 5.0 mm. Fresh gas flow - not less than 2 l/min. Color Indication: White-violet During use, the violet color begins to manifest and intensify, indicating the depletion of soda's ability to absorb carbon dioxide.
