An intravenous catheter is a medical device designed for long-term administration of medications into peripheral veins (up to 5 days) or for removal of fluids, solutions of medicinal substances from the human circulatory system using a catheter inserted into a blood vessel (patient's peripheral veins) to reduce vein injury using a hollow needle (introducer). The needle is removed immediately after inserting the catheter into the vein.
Peripheral venous catheter (venous catheter) - is inserted into the arm, neck, or head area. The other end of the catheter is free, and the necessary medication is administered through it.
Material: PUR (Polyurethane) is a softer and thermoplastic material designed for more complex veins and longer catheterization within 8 days.
